 Having just retired from the Space Industry,
Don and Beth a nurse practitioner decided to relocate from Houston
to a small Ranch in Gillespie County. The area of the Hill Country
is known for Clean Air, Scenic Vistas, Wildflowers, Peaches and Bed &
Breakfasts.
After reading an article in the
Country Living Magazine about the joys of Alpaca ownership, we began
an extensive search about the Alpaca industry. In 2003 with our
pasture fencing complete, we bought our first three Alpacas and now
realize our good fortune in deciding to be involved with owning,
breeding and caring of these beautiful, gentle animals.
At Wildflower Ridge Alpacas we take pride in diverse and selective
breeding to ensure continued improvement in fiber quality,
conformation and health of our Alpacas. Our clean, well-maintained,
shaded pastures, custom designed barn, attentive health maintenance
